You and your partner are in an impenetrable, decade-long lesbian anchor. Your partner wants to spice things up with a dick. You reluctantly agree to keep her happy. The terms are explicit - this is a casual biological accessory. If anything doesn't feel right, we find another dick. The Dick arrives at a party in full WARNING: emotional NPC with unresolved abandonment issues, sobbing for ten straight hours about being ghosted by his ex and vanish while he was away. A week into it the Dick hijacks the narrative, U-Hauled immediately while bragging constantly to friends, family, and his own mother that he now has “two girlfriends.”
The warning lights are flashing. Do you enforce the promised boundary, or step into the blast radius?

Find The Eggplant Files

Your nervous system is on fire. You are out of emotional bandwidth and one bad sentence away from complete shutdown.
If you want to de-escalate this dynamic and get your grounding back, you have to find The Eggplant Files.
Somewhere in the wreckage is the evidence: what happened, who twisted it, and how it got weaponized against you.

Find the files. Read the record. Recover your footing before the narrative eats you alive.

Attempt to Reason with Him Hold a Hard Boundary Apologize to Keep the Peace

Engaging in an argument seems more productive than just taking the emotional hits. So you quietly try to explain your side, pointing out that his literal words don't match his terrifying physical energy. You hear rhetorical footsteps approaching. He pivots, deploying a rapid Straw Man fallacy combined with an Appeal to Pity. "I'm only raising my voice because I'm masking my sorrow!" he yells, pointing an invisible rifle of guilt at your head.

Another Chance

You decide to calm down, take a seat, and back down like you have a hundred times before. You accept the "Manufactured Debt," hoping that by yielding, the aggression will stop. But yielding to emotional blackmail only reinforces the cycle. All of a sudden, he uses your apology to execute a rapid DARVO maneuver (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim/Offender). The things chasing you blast in—invalidating your reality, ripping through your self-esteem, and chucking your emotional autonomy in the corner. You take your dying breath believing it all could have been different if you had just held your ground...

Second Chances

Getting killed seems more pleasant than hiding in this bloody room. So you quietly sneak out the back door and reach the river. You hear footsteps and see a boat docked nearby...

Take it Downstream Take Cover

You dash towards the boat and realize it's tied down. A gruff bearded man appears out of the woods with a rifle pointed at your head. "Step back! Nice and easy now." You turn helplessly with your hands held high. "I don't want any trouble. I'm being chased. We can't outrun these things."

The man looks at you with loss in his eyes and sorrowfully replies, "I know... I'm sorry, son." He gets in the boat, shoots it free, and rows away, leaving you on the shore to buy him time. The forest rumbles. You have no strength left to run and you miserably think to yourself... if I could just...

Go Back

You immediately take cover behind a thick tree. A gruff bearded man appears out of the forest with a rifle, approaches the boat, and curses out. The damn boat was tied down. Good thing you took cover. The man anxiously tries to free the boat without making too much noise.

Suddenly, a gun shot goes off, piercing his leg. He howls in pain as you watch a woman barge out of the forest covered in blood. “That’s for abandoning us"...GUN COCK..."And this is for my brother, you miserable fuck." BANG! The forest begins to rumble aggressively. Those things pounce down on her from the trees and you look away sinking to your knees as they eat her alive. Very slowly.

Wait it Out Sneak Away

Her trembling shrieks traumatize you and make you wish you were dead. By some miracle, those things didn't catch your scent and eventually scatter off into the woods. You finally make it to the boat, pick up the rifle, and row away staring back at the shore petrified.

They didn't leave a single piece of her but you've got bigger fish to fry! The river is splitting into two. Calm on the left, grand rapids on the right, and instant death STRAIGHT AHEAD!

Row Left Row Right

You narrowly dodge the rapids and fall back exhausted as the river peacefully moves you into the night. The soothing sound of the water leads you into a relaxing slumber. You don't notice the waterfall up ahead until you're falling down wishing you never got on this stupid boat and had...

One Last Chance

Your years of kayaking experience finally comes in handy and you put those rapids to shame with your skills, surviving by the skin of your teeth! You fall back exhausted looking up at the most beautiful starry sky you have ever seen. The water soothes your mind and for a fleeting moment, you forget all of your fears as the river peacefully leads you for miles and the night blurs away. The next day, you meet a group of survivors trying to figure out what they’re surviving. They ask you if you’ve seen anything and you’ve got one hell of a story to tell…

The only thing worse than risking your life is hearing her die.  So you try to sneak away but can only go back the way you came. The house you abandoned now feels like home and you hope to hide there until morning. It's hard falling asleep with her brother decomposing in the corner but you feel more reassured carrying his gun as exhaustion finally takes you into a deep slumber.

Some time later, you open your eyes and see one of those things enjoying its dinner in the corner. Thankfully, the bastard left the front door open...

Crawl Out SHOOT IT!

Your bullet pierces through its head. You tell yourself revenge is very sweet and the other things that heard your vengeful gunshot wholeheartedly agree as they barge in and eat your heart out. Your life flashes in front of your eyes. You see your mother teaching you to never disturb anyone while they're eating and you wish...

You Remembered

You are one resilient son of a bitch! The entire night was a blur. One minute you're driving your car, the next, you're being chased by whatever the hell those things were. You reach the main road and race back to where you crashed your car. It's not there?! And it looks like... nothing ever happened. A few miles later, you hear a car approaching and yell out in joy, waving at it frantically. A pair of survivors pick you up trying to figure out what's going on. They ask you if you've seen anything and boy have you got a story to tell...
